This is my favorite resource for late November and all of December.

Each student gets a ticket and a passport and then we begin our travels around the world to learn about Holidays Around the World. The resource covers: Hanukkah, Diwali, Las Posadas, Christmas, Dongzhi, St. Lucia, Kwanzaa. The Google Slides have an amazing presentation about each holiday and the paper pencil resource is filled with informational text and activities. The crafts are perfect and each holiday has vocabulary for posting. Students practice reporting on informational text, comparing and contrasting, building vocabulary and writing. It is a perfect way to keep students engaged and learning during a hectic
